• Always set your eyeliner with a matching eye shadow as this would enable your eye makeup to last for a longer duration. In order to do so, first use an eye liner pencil to outline your eyes, then to hold the liner in place, dust a little eye shadow on it.
• For liquid liners, it is advisable to line your eyes with a pencil liner first and thereafter trace with the liquid over it.
• You can customize your eye liner by using a wet liner brush and eye shadow as this will darken the pigments and impart a sharp look like a liner.
• Use a lighter to warm the tip of a kohl liner making it gel-like.
• To get a perfect cat-eye shape, use the curves and edges of a spoon. The handle of the spoon will enable you to draw the angled line while its curve would help you get the perfect shape. Now fill it up to get the perfect look.
• First draw a rough line and then sharpen it using a cotton swab and petroleum jelly. This will prevent you from facing the challenge of getting the perfect line in one stroke and you would not have to keep erasing it again and again.
